About My Orders

How do I make changes to my order?

Once you have paid for your order, Ladood designers will prepare a proof for your approval (within a few days). It is at this stage that you are able to make any changes to your cards upon seeing the pdf proofs that we will send you via email. Our designers will also review the cards in case of any typos (we're pretty nice like that). Once you are happy with your cards and have given the heads up to send to print, no further changes can be made! So please double and triple check all spelling!

How do I find the status of my order?

You can always check the status of your order in the ‘My Orders’ tab in the ‘My Account’ page.As soon as you've placed and paid for your order, you will receive a confirmation email from our team - this will include your order number and a summary of the cards you've ordered. We will also email you every time a milestone is approaching and there is something you we need you to do, or when a milestone has passed, so you are always kept in the loop.

What is the order process?

If you are looking for information about how long it will take since you have placed an order, here is the step-by-step order process:

a) Ordered - We will send you a confirmation email that the Ladood family have received your order.

b) In Design - Our Professional designers at the Ladood Factory have begun working on your order. A member of our team will check each item in your order to ensure every detail is perfectly flawless - from grammar to etiquette, and even punctuation. If we have any questions regarding your order, a designer will personally contact you via the phone number and/or email address you provided at registration.

c) Proof and approval - You will be emailed a PDF proof of your invitations. It’s amazing seeing your cards come to life :-). You can approve that it’s all perfect (yay!) by just replying back to the email and we’ll send them straight our amazing printers. Or………go through stages d) and e)

d) Final changes - If there are any changes that you need to make, please just reply to the email with bullet points on what you would like changed. PLEASE NOTE: Your order will not be printed until ALL items in the proof have been approved, so please be sure to approve your proof quickly if you are in a hurry and need the cards ASAP.

e) Proof and approval - All cards will be amended with your final changes (if you have any!). We will then email you a final PDF proof again. Once you approve the changes (just reply back to the email), your order will be prepared for printing.

f) Printed - Your order is currently being printed - How bloody exciting!?

h) Shipped - Your order has been shipped and an email confirming this will be sent to you. All our products are shipped via 1st Class next day, tracked service. We will send you an email when these are ready for delivery, so please make sure that someone is home to sign for them. If you prefer a specific day, just email us back and we’ll try to adjust the delivery date. If you need your order very quickly, please call us as soon as you've placed an order so we can keep a special eye on it and ask our designers to possibly prioritise your order!

i) Delivered - We're confident that you're going to love the cards. We would love to hear some feedback from you - most of our customers also send us photos and videos of them opening and writing their invitations. Tag us in your instagram photos!

How do I place a reorder?

Our designers save all final PDFs that were sent for printing in our database. If you want to invite more guests, or have underestimated how many cards you needed to order(!), just drop us an email at info@ladood.com and we’ll dig out your order for you. You’ll still have to pay for the cards upfront but won’t need to go through all of the steps again.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you have ordered and paid for your cards', you are no longer able to cancel as our designers would’ve immediately started working on the text edits you submitted. Partial refunds may be given in special circumstances. Please give us a call on +(44)7940040066.


How will I receive my invitations?

We understand how important these invites are to you, so all our products are sent via 1st class tracked next day delivery at a cost of £10. Make sure someone is home to sign for them, we don’t want you missing the post man. Don't worry - we never charge extra or turn a profit on shipping costs.

Refunds and returns

Do you do refunds?

We are confident that you will be happy with the quality of our products, but if for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us so that we can determine the best way to address your concern. Anything that’s made to your specific requirements, is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element is non-refundable. The cards are creative pieces that are specially commissioned and approved by you when you placed an order.

Please note that we will be happy to accept your return and issue you with a refund if there is an issue with quality. Please also note that we will only be able to offer a refund if your whole order is returned to us.

Please note:Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.

If you've received an item that is damaged or flawed, please contact us directly via email and provide the following information:

a) your order number
b) a description of the problem
c) a photo illustrating the issue
d) your preference for a replacement or a refund

Customising your order and samples

What are my customisation options?

When you personalise your design, you can change the text. If you would like to change elements of the design, we will be looking at offering you a bespoke service. Please give us a call or note down your preferences in email and we’ll get back to you. We may be able to accommodate text colour changes (depending on how busy our designers are!) so please do let us know - there is space for you to add comments for us when you place your order.

Can I order a sample?

Ofcourse! You can order samples of our designs in order to fully experience the high quality of our paper and printing techniques. These are available for a small fee listed on the website. Your sample will be processed within 1-2 business days then shipped straight out to you.

PLEASE NOTE:The samples you order will be of generic people and not your own names.

Can I make elaborate changes?

For more complex requests, a designer may be able to offer further customisation help. In these cases, additional fees may apply as this will fall under our bespoke service. Our designers will assess your request and then contact you for approval for any additional fees prior to starting your proof.

Can I customise my envelope design?

All of our envelopes come with unique designs - if you would like to customise the text, you can do so when personalising your order. If you would like to make changes to font size and/or colour, please leave instructions in the additional boxes provided when placing your order.

Cards and designs

What are the dimensions of your cards and envelopes?

The dimensions for every card are listed on that product's detail page. The majority of our cards are A5 and A6. These are supported with C5 and C6 sized envelopes.

What do the different finishes of the cards look like?

Our Matte cards are soft to touch with an uncoated finish, the silk cards are smooth with a slight shine, whereas the textured cards are grainy.

Please note: For the textured cards, the printing result is slightly different, because the surface is not flat, the ink is not as prominent. We have placed live images below for you to see the difference yourself:

How do I apply a special offer to my order?

Apply any special offers to your order total, during checkout, just underneath your payment options. It is not possible to combine more than one offer on a single order, but you are welcome to use any current offers that may apply.
